High Protein Snack

Today I visited my parents' home. My brother does a lot of training at the gym, mainly plenty of weight training. He uses a protein powder by Dymatize. He likes the one shown in the photos in this blog as it helps with "gains". It also tastes good. That is what he told me anyway.

So I decided to get creative and make something with the ingredients found in the pantry.
  • 1 Banana - easy to mash and makes this treat nice and soft when frozen.
  • 1 tablespoon melted Coconut oil - easy to melt and mash and provides quality fats
  • 2 teaspoons Organic Honey - the honey in this recipe makes it really sweet, so you can replace it with stevia
  • 1 tablespoon Peanut Butter - I personally prefer to use Natural Peanut butter without the oil, salts sugar. This is all we had.
  • 1 Tablespoon Cocoa Powder - I always add cacao or cocoa to make it really "rich" in chocolate.
  1. Mash all ingredients together with enough water to create a sticky custard like texture.
  2. Pour into a lined tin.
  3. Freeze, slice and serve.
Protein Powder - You can use any type, I always use one with out artificial sweetener.
