The weekend<3

 

On Sunday it was my first raw food cooking class. The class was at Bliss in the city. In the class we covered raw food info, basic utensils, super foods, ingredients and information on an alkaline body. The students learned how to make nuts milk, green smoothie, granola, salad, pasta strips, tahini dressing, truffles, bliss balls and chocolate! Thanks to those who attended! More raw events in the planning! What do you want to learn to make next?

Health events <3

 

I am thinking to plan health and fitness seminars, possibly raw pot luck and movie nights for my fans in Adelaide. The idea of including fitness workshops with my cooking has crossed my mind. Possibly yoga and raw food ect. If you are keen or have any ideas please let me know! Love to bring us all together!

 

New super food <3

 

Recently I came across a new super food. I will share it with you. The super food is called Nopol Powder and comes from Mexico. The product normalizes blood sugar, treats diabetes, and boosts insulin sensibility. Used widely is Mexico to treat type 2 diabetes! Add this too you superfood shake!

 Nopol powder will be used on my raw food classes too!

Middle eastern kitchen <3

 

I have just purchased some Tahini from the health food shop! Tahini is made from sesame seeds and is loaded with vitamins and minerals including magnesium, iron, calcium and potassium. Tahini is a common ingredient in Middle Eastern cooking!

Middle Eastern inspired raw treat!

Ingredients

5 tablespoons tahini

2 tablespoons coconut oil melted

1/2 cup almond meal

½ cup flaked coconut

1 tablespoon honey optional (can serve with stevia or no sweetner)

Directions

 

Mix all ingredients together then pour into moulds and freeze!

Add cacao for a chocolate taste!
