Students sampled this RAWTELLA to start the morning! Raw cacao pick me up NATURAL TREAT :)))

On Sunday I taught two RAW FOOD classes :) Both these classes are NEW. Super food Protein Class and Light and Easy Raw Food class. Both events went well and the Students walked away with more knowledge on whole foods and eating nutrient dense food.

Both my classes include Demonstration, taste, recipes and a shared meal. The students in Raw Light and Easy class put together own lunch. Something different and a great chance to mingle with others.

I was very lucky to have a great guest speaker attend my first class and speak about the benefits of some Superfoods. Zara is a Naturopath and has her own tea range. PuraTea. Each student got to try a sample of the tea, also one to take home. Very spoilt! The range i so lovely and each tea has different benefits and great for health. I encourage my students to drink more herbal tea.

Speaking of tea, those who attended both classes got to try the Natural Naughties homemade tea. I infused fresh mint, basil, stevia with turmeric. This tea was VERY NATURAL. I was surprised how great the plant based stevia tasted and really made the tea taste sweet. Many stevia products are highly processed, the natural form will always be best.

Light and Easy class was designed to introduce my clients to a HIGH RAW food experience. We all love the cakes, bliss balls and other treats. They are known as RAW GOURMET or TRANSITION cuisine recipes. Most people strive on a HIGH RAW food diet and lifestyle. For this reason I wanted to introduce my favourite raw shakes, soups, salads and fruity treats! These are all easy to digest, low in calories and very nutrient dense. A raw food diet and lifestyle should be mostly fresh fruit and veggies. In this class i also spoke about Natural Naughties favourite herbs and spices. Often people do not use enough of these. They add so much flavour to food and are loaded with health benefits. I used FRESH turmeric for the first time instead of dry.

Some of the recipes from The Light and Easy are in my e-book, these include the raw sorbet, apple avocado dressing, nori wraps and sun dried tomato salad.

The second class I taught was The Super food Protein Class This class is fun, easy and quick. I introduce some Natural Protein options for athletes or those looking to increase protein in the diet. It is a vegan friendly class. I use a raw protein that most people find easy to digest. It is free from artificial sweetener, chemicals and stimulants. This product is safe for the entire family to use. Many products on the market are not Natural and can cause health problems, so always check these things out.

In this class I made raw protein balls, shakes, vegan salad and more. The fruit and nut protien ball was very popular as was the Low Carb Cococnut ball.

I will share a recipe in this blog from my Light and Easy class.
