When I visited Sydney last month for a fitness expo, I was really excited to be a part of the Lululemon event. Lululemon sells gym gear that is perfect for yoga and running. The gym wear is not only comfy, good quality but looks good too. On the night Lululemon team where nice enough to provide me with a great outfit. I love the gym wear now.

A fitness ambassador Claire Morgan asked me to attend, was a kind gesture of Claire to think of me. I arrived early to visit Claire to pick my outfit and check out the store,was so many great outfits was hard to pick just one. Then off for a tea, was great to finally meet another inspirational athlete. On the night Natural Naughties provided guests with Natural Naughties Nibbles. This was a great chance to share my Natural Naughties e-book with Sydney too. The customers really loved the e-book and were so excited to learn more about the raw foods. Natural Naughties provided samples of Raw Cacao Bliss Balls, Peanut Butter balls, Coconut and Date balls, Raw Cheese, Raw veggies Crackers, Raw Broccoli chips and we also provided FRESH raw fruit and veggies! Everyone loved the treats and could not believe they were all natural and healthy!

On the night was also some entertainment. Two lovely sister presented a yoga demonstration. It was very inspiring to see such fit, flexible and healthy bodies.Yoga is aimed to unite the body and mind. Yoga has many physical,biochemical and psychological benefits.Some of these benefits include better balance, better sleep, improved posture, reduction on stress, better moods and energy. Many people notice the raw foods improve flexibility, for this reason many yogis follow a raw food diet. Stretching is very important to me with a background in aerobics. I always feel better after a great stretch session. I notice being more flexible improves my performance, recovery and reduces injuries. When i was training for WNBF sports comps in 2010, i would stretch 2-3 hours a week to improve all my training. I believe a lot of muscle definition was from all my stretching and balance work. Yoga can target and define some of the smaller muscle groups.

Post Work Out Natural Naughties Shake, perfect for yogis

This shake is nutrient dense, vegan, natural and taste great.


1 cup coconut water (great for hydrating the body, important especially after hot or bikram yoga)
1/2 cup frozen berries (loaded with antioxidants to reduce first signs of ageing)
1/2 cup baby spinach (greens help balance ph in the body, an alkaline body is a healthy one)
1/2 cup ice (nice and cold)
1 tablespoon lucuma (great natural super food sweetner, loaded with benefits)


Blend all ingredients in a high speed blender and enjoy!

Coconut water is the "Raw food world" is know as natures Gaterade, it gives you loads of energy, yet is natural and free from the nasties! Most organic shops sell coconut water so it is easy to enjoy "On the go".
