On Friday night Natural Naughties taught our first inhome party. It was lovely to meet such a great host and a bunch of lovely ladies. My host had a fantastic small room set up, was very personal and relaxing for the ladies.

As it was a Friday night, the ladies felt a little "naughty" so the night started with some organic wine! Moderation and balance are key for health. Besides red wine is loaded with antioxidants ;). The ladies snacked on raw flaxseed crackers and veggie sticks to start.

The first part of the night was spend talking about super foods, organic ingredients, the raw food diet, metabolic typing and different utensils that help with raw food prep. Most of the ladies were wanting to learn more about nutrient dense foods for the family and their children.

The first demonstration was a Raw Cashew Yellow Cheese, a Herb Cheese and Raw Food Tapas. These raw tapas make great healthy finger food for parties! So simple, healthy and yummy! They are also dairy free, gluten free and all natural.

The main meal for the night was Raw Zucchini Pasta, served with Raw Marinara Sauce, Cashew Herb Cheese, Yellow Cheese and crushed almonds.The ladies were very impressed with this dish and suprised how it tasted like traditional pasta. However free from the gluten and naughties.

*Many people notice when they remove white pasta and bread from the diet they loose a few kilos and feel better, try replace pasta with Zucchini Pasta. This recipe is also in my Natural Naughtie Raw Food and Lifestyle e-book.

After the main, was time to make some really yummy treats! Bliss balls, Raw Avocado Cake and Raw Chocolate! Yum!  As these ladie are parents, some schools have a new policy so i suggested ways to make my recipes nut free and still taste great. Also the bliss balls are a great snack, hide spirulina in them to ensure your children get the benefits from this superfood.

This was a great event and a great way to inspire others to lead a healthy lifestyle. I have had great feedback from the ladies and look forward to hear what recipes they make at home.

Nutrient Dense NUT FREE recipe

Ingredients

1 cup coconut flakes
1 cup medjool dates
1/2 cup cacao
1/4 cup agave
4 teaspoon spirulina
1 tablespoon coconut oil
1/4 cup goji berries

Directions

Blend all ingredients in a food processor until well combined. Line a baking tin with baking paper, push the "batter" into the tin. Score slices with a knife. Freeze then serve.

Tips

You can wrap each slice in ailfoil, this way children can take them to school, natural health bars!

*Many health bars sold in stores contain harmful ingredients. Alway check the ingredients on the packet, if in doubt check it out. Chemical Maze, a small hand book is a great little booklet to help parents and others beaware of what hides in food today. Best option is packet free food! Some products that contain the "Health Tick", are still not Natural Naughties approved :)
