Healthy Tasty Meat!

I have an Italian background. Italians use mostly whole foods and fresh ingredients. For this reason I am passionate about making my own sauces, dressings and condiments.

Many people are unaware of the "hidden" ingredients in store-bought condiments. They sauces and dressings often lack nutrients or contain sugar and unhealthy salts.

Eating the same foods all the time can be boring. That is why I am passionate to inspire others to "dress" foods different ways for variety. Variety decreases chances of falling off track on your healthy eating journey and increases chances of getting more nutrients into your body.

This is an amazing marinate that also doubles up as a salad dressing.


Healthy Meat Marinate

Ingredients
1/2 cup olive oil
1 teaspoon crushed garlic
1/4 cup lemon juice
sea salt
1/4 cup chopped basil

Directions
Whisk together.
Massage the "dressing" into pieces of meat
Cover and leave in fridge for at least an hour
Grill, bake or fry the meat until done

*You can use chicken, turkey, beef , tofu or fish.

*This marinate taste great as a salad dressing too!
