The best thing about being a raw food advocate would have to be RAW CHOCOLATE! Yes! Surely using the raw, healthy and organic kind means chocolate is good for me. ;)

I have always been a bit of a chocoholic. When I turned to a healthy and clean diet, the one thing I could not give up was chocolate. I would always buy good quality dark chocolate as I actually like the real cacao in chocolate and not the sugars in most highly processed chocolates.

Common Ingredients in Raw Chocolate

  • Raw cacao - A great source of minerals and vitamins. Good quality fats and high in antioxidants.
  • Coconut oil - Nutrient dense super food that is loaded with healthy fats. Coconut oil is known to boost the immune system.
  • Agave - a more natural alternative to processed white sugar, vegan, blends well in chocolate.

Banana chocolate treat


A quick and easy snack

Ingredients:

1 banana
Andersen chocolate spread
coconut flakes

Directions:
Slice the banana into pieces.

Top with some of the chocolate spread
sprinkle some flakes on each.
