Natural Easter Buns

Most store bought buns contain too much sugar, preservatives and nasty ingredients. Natural Naughites created this recipe to provide clients and "fans" with a healthy recipe over Easter.

The ingredients are great quality and loaded with health benefits. The products purchased from Wild Thyme Organics, Adelaide Melbourne street.

Natural Naughties Bun Recipe


1+ 1/2 cup spelt flour
1/4 cup oats
1/4 cup milk or substitute
2 tablespoons coconut oil
2 teaspoons coconut palm sugar
1 whole egg
2 teaspoons cinnamon
1/4 cup dry blueberries
crushed dark chocolate bits are optional
1 teaspoon baking powder


Mix all the "dry" ingredients together. Add in all other ingredients. Mix well to form a "sticky: dough.

Divide the mix into 12.

Form into balls and slightly flatten into a cupcake liner.

Bake on medium heat until the bun is slightly brown and it will rise when ready.

(Takes approx 15 minutes to cook, always check them to ensure they do not cook faster ;))


Follow the "Natural Naughties Chocolate" recipe to form a "cross" on each to decorate or use another raw garnish.

I use coconut oil, agave, cocoa powder and coconut flakes.
