With an increase in dairy allergies Natural Naughties would love to provide you with an alternative to milk. So many people miss "milk" in smoothies or over breakfast. I am excited to share for you all the possibilities.

If your not sure if you can or can not tolerate dairy you can get tests done OR simply remove it from your current eating plan and see how you feel when you introduce it. Many people find when they remove it they feel better, leaner, have better skin, more energy and less head aches.

If you can have dairy I suggest you look into the quality of milk you are drinking. From my understanding raw milk is not yet legal for consumption in Australia BUT is sold as "bath milk" at many Organic stores. I have purchased this and tried it. I try to avoid too much dairy and stick to other alternatives. I have tried raw milk in the bath, makes your skin feel so soft. My friend swears that her grandmother looks so youthful as that is her "beauty secret", using it as a cleanser daily!

I know that organic shops and super markets sell Organic Milk.



Nut Milk Recipe (homemade)
Ingredients: 
1 cup almonds, soaked for at least 4 hours
4 cups water
1 date(optional)

Directions
Blend in a high speed blender.
Strain in a nut milk bag. 
Enjoy the delicious nut milk over raw granola or in a smoothie.

Tips
  • Keep the pulp to make cookies! You can find the recipe in the RAW Lifestyle e-book.
  • If you don't have that much time to make this, you can buy already made nut milks.

  • Coco milk - a gluten free, sugar free alternative to milk. This coco milk is loaded with health benefits. Kids love this milk.
  • Soy milk - a high protein alternative to milk that many vegans love
  • Rice milk - perfect for those with lactose intolerance, very light and easy for most to digest.
