Last week I was lucky enough to be invited to promote Natural Naughties at The Boxing Room, open night. I was very excited to share my Raw Food treats and Raw Food and Lifestyle E-book with the members and new faces. Thanks to my good friend Grace Tohl for the chance to promote my business at such a fantastic event. Grace Tohl won the WNBF in Australia last year and now it a Sports Model coach. Grace did such a great job on coaching her girls this year, they all looked fantastic. I have met so many positive and friendly people in this industry!

I was excited to be a part of this event as boxing has so many health benefits and it loads of fun. Boxing is fantastic for weight loss, muscle tone, and cardio fitness. Boxing is also a great way to have fun while working out!

On the night my assistants Despina, Sandra and myself handed out Natural Naughties samples. These samples included Raw Cacao Bliss balls, Cashew fudge and Spirulina slice.  Natural Naughties also donated an e-book towards a raffle and all guests were presented with a Natural Naughties voucher to celebrate the night too.

Spirulina is plant based, great source of vitamins and nutrients for vegans or anyone looking to improve health.

Many guests on the night told me they hated the taste of spirulina and would struggle to drink/eat it. Let alone give it to children to try.

For this reason I invented my spirulina slice, I wanted to make a treat so nutrient dense that tasted amazing!

The guests who normally struggle to consume spirulina, loved my treats, one lady commented it tasted like coconut-ice!

I met so many great people on the night, including several other businesses that promote health and well-being. One of the most inspirational people I met on the night was a lovely Naturopath called Zara. It was great to hear Zara speak about a range of super foods Natural Naughties use in our own creations. Zara spoke very highly of coconut oil. Zara has so much knowledge in nutrition and health.

Some other entertainment provided on the night was a boxing demonstration, Lorna Jane fashion show and several other speakers.

Spirulina Slice Recipe

This spirulina slice was so popular on the night. This slice is very nutrient dense and perfect for athletes, pregnant woman or children.

Ingredients

1/2 cup coconut flakes
1/2 cup dates
3/4 cup coconut oil
4 tablespoons spirulina
4 tablespoons agave
1/2 cup walnuts

Directions

Blend all ingredients in a high speed food processor. Flatten mixture into a tin lined with alfoil. Leave in fridge to harden then slice.

Tips

Add more agave for a sweeter treat.

Optional ingredients include raw cacao, goji berries or acai berry powder.
